What is phosphatidylserine?
Phosphatidylserine, abbreviated PS, is a glycerophospholipid found in cell membranes. It is enriched on the inner leaflet of the plasma membrane and is particularly relevant in neural tissue, where membrane composition supports receptors, enzymes, vesicle activity, and cell-to-cell signaling.1
